It continuously identifies and evaluates risks to analyze the likelihood and impact of physical, chemical, biological, and human-induced hazards in the workplace, taking appropriate control measures to reduce the risk of occupational disasters.

Avalue uses chemicals such as isopropanol, toluene, and ketone for operational needs, primarily for cleaning, wiping, or related process auxiliary operations. To reduce the occupational health and safety risks associated with the use of chemicals, Avalue has SDS safety data sheets (Safety Data Sheet) available on the job site for workers to review the properties, hazard information, protective measures, storage methods, and emergency response procedures of the chemicals. These sheets serve as the basis for chemical management and training.

Above chemicals, if improperly operated, damaged containers, insufficient ventilation, improper storage, or incorrect use of personal protective equipment, may cause inhalation exposure, skin or eye irritation, dizziness, respiratory discomfort, and may increase the risk of fire due to their flammable characteristics. Additionally, noise is a persistent physical hazard factor that the Avalue continues to monitor in the work environment. Long-term exposure to high noise levels may cause hearing damage or affect concentration in work. Therefore, Avalue has included chemical factors and physical factors in the monitoring and risk management of the work environment to understand the impact of potential hazards on employee safety and health.

For the daily management of hazardous chemicals, Avalue requires that chemicals be properly stored according to the labels, avoiding mixing, tipping, leaking, or proximity to fire sources. Before using, workers should confirm the container labels and SDS information and take measures such as ventilation, avoiding direct contact, using appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintaining site tidiness as needed. In case of chemical leakage, accidental contact, accidental inhalation, or other abnormal conditions, workers should immediately stop work and report to supervisors or occupational health personnel. According to the emergency procedures listed in the SDS, appropriate disposal should be carried out, and in severe cases, isolation on site, enhanced ventilation, removal of leaked substances, flushing of exposed areas, or medical treatment should be arranged to minimize the impact on personnel health and work environment.

To confirm the effectiveness of the control measures in the work environment, Avalue commissions external professional institutions to conduct work environment monitoring every six months. The monitoring items include chemical factors and physical factors. In 2025, the chemical factors include isopropanol, toluene, and acetone, and the physical factors include noise. The monitoring results comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards. In the future, Avalue will continue to strengthen the management of hazardous chemical risks and work environment risks through SDS management, training, site inspections, work environment monitoring, and abnormal reporting mechanisms, ensuring that employees work in a safe and healthy environment.

Avalue continuously monitors employee workload and mental and physical health conditions and conducts regular risk assessments and health management operations based on the 'Abnormal Workload Prevention Plan.' The 2025 results of the abnormal workload assessment show that the proportion of 'high-risk' employees is the same as the previous year, but a portion of employees originally rated as 'low-risk' have shifted to the 'medium-risk' category, indicating an upward trend in fatigue and workload. In response to these results, Avalue implements a tiered health management mechanism. High-risk cases are individually interviewed and provided with professional health guidance by occupational medicine specialists; medium and low-risk cases are assisted by occupational health nurses through health education, work adaptation recommendations, and care tracking, and ongoing long-term health management and tracking are conducted to reduce the risk of abnormal workload on employee health.

Avalue regularly conducts surveys and risk assessments of musculoskeletal symptoms based on the 'Human Factors Hazards Prevention Plan' to reduce the risk of occupational injuries caused by repetitive actions, poor postures, or work environment factors.

In the 2025 survey of musculoskeletal hazards, the proportion of scores of 3 and 4 is 7% and 3%, respectively. Although the overall risk is still manageable, since scores of 3 and above may affect work efficiency and physical health, they are considered key management targets.

For high-risk groups, subsequent professional improvement recommendations will be provided by occupational medicine specialists, including posture adjustments, environmental improvements, and health promotion measures, and occupational health nurses will continue to track and improve these measures to prevent musculoskeletal occupational injuries and enhance employee work comfort and workplace health quality.
