Avalue Technology Inc. (TWSE: 3479) specializes in the manufacturing, processing, and import/export of industrial computers. The company is focused on the development of innovative products based on x86 and RISC architectures, including: Industrial motherboards and single board computers(SBCs), Industrial PCs, Rugged and semi-rugged tablets, Embedded computer modules, Point-of-sale(POS) terminals, Panel PCs and system-level solutions. Avalue is committed to streamlining system assembly, reducing product weight, and extending product lifecycle, with design principles centered on high performance, scalability, and user-friendliness. The goal is to provide reliable, stable, and compatible products that help customers reduce labor and logistics costs, while creating added value for both clients and the environment.

Sales Distribution of Products and Services

Avalue operates as a midstream manufacturer specializing in single-board computers, system platforms, and comparable competitive computer products. Its upstream partners encompass suppliers of related components, materials, equipment, processing, and verification services. Downstream, Avalue collaborates primarily with distributors, system integrators, application system manufacturers, and software integrators. Through these downstream partners, Avalue further extends its reach to various end-application integrators, providing computer systems that enhance information accessibility and automation in daily life. Avalue has implemented a rigorous supplier management system to mitigate operational risks and procurement costs, ensure product quality through stable supply, and promote mutual growth with its suppliers. Throughout the 2024 fiscal year, Avalue maintained its existing supplier relationships without any changes or terminations of significant partnerships.

Financial Performance

In today’s increasingly sustainability-focused business environment, financial performance is no longer merely an indicator of operational results, but a critical foundation for driving innovation, implementing responsible governance, and achieving sustainability goals. A robust financial position strengthens a company’s resilience to external risks and market fluctuations, and facilitates long-term resource planning and strategic alignment.

Avalue recognizes the interconnectedness of financial performance and sustainable development, and therefore considers financial performance a material issue. Avalue discloses and manages this issue from multiple perspectives, including revenue and profitability, capital expenditure planning, shareholder return policies, and risk adaptation capabilities. Through systematic strategy execution and financial planning, Avalue is committed to creating economic value while balancing the interests of stakeholders and building long-term competitiveness, laying a solid foundation for sustainable development.

Avalue’s consolidated revenue for 2024 was NT$7,602,920 thousand, with earnings per share reaching NT$6.85. Compared to the consolidated revenue of 2023, this represents a decrease of NT$631,747 thousand, or approximately 7.67%. This decline was primarily influenced by changes in the global economic environment, inflation, exchange rate fluctuations, and a slowdown in the industrial economy following a short-term drop in demand post-pandemic. Adapting to technology trends and market demands, Avalue will continue to invest in forward-looking technologies such as IoT, AI, and edge computing to capitalize on the market opportunities presented by the development of the Internet of Things and 3D imaging technologies, striving to provide comprehensive solutions that create higher value for customers and effectively enhance market competitiveness, moving beyond simple price competition. Guided by the core values of SDGs and ESG, Avalue looks forward to collaborating with global partners to create a sustainable future.

Government Subsidies

In 2024, Avalue received a total of NT$9,608 in subsidies from the Ministry of Labor. The subsidy project was for “Prenatal Check-up and Paternity Leave Salary Subsidies.” This subsidy supports the company’s implementation of labor policies and employee welfare, demonstrating its commitment to protecting the rights of workers and complying with government policies.

Tax Management

Avalue’s tax-related policies are approved by the Chairman of the Board and implemented in accordance with the tax laws of the respective countries where its operations are located, adhering to the arm’s length principle. Tax information is disclosed to stakeholders in financial reports and local tax filings. Major transactions and decisions are planned based on local tax regulations, and regular confirmation is obtained from each operating location to ensure that routine transactions comply with local tax laws. When facing significant uncertainties or high-complexity tax risks, external professional advice is sought in a timely manner.

Within the company, the Accounting Department is responsible for tax management. Based on principles of trust and integrity, Avalue establishes a respectful relationship with tax authorities, filing and paying taxes on a regular schedule, and fulfilling its social responsibility as a taxpayer. Tax planning considers commercial operations, including the Group’s social responsibility and reputation in various countries, risk management, and sustainable value. Avalue does not seek tax benefits or exemptions by violating the law.
