Avalue’s main operational sites are located within government-planned and managed technology parks. The daily operations of Avalue have relatively limited impacts on the surrounding communities. Matters such as land use, traffic, environmental protection, and public safety are managed and supervised by central and local supervisory authorities based on existing laws and regulations. Overall, the local community has a relatively mature public governance framework and administrative mechanisms, capable of effectively maintaining basic public service quality and community operation order.
Throughout the operational and construction planning processes, Avalue has always followed relevant laws and regulations of central and local governments and has applied for, reviewed, and reported according to the requirements of supervisory authorities. Avalue has not assumed or replaced the responsibilities of local or national institutions in community governance but rather operates within the existing institutional framework to ensure that related behaviors comply with legal requirements and social expectations. Through existing communication channels with the park management committee and supervisory authorities, Avalue can promptly grasp policies and management requirements and cooperate with relevant units when necessary to reduce potential impacts on local communities and maintain good neighborly relations and operational environment.
In community public welfare participation, Avalue has continuously cooperated with the park management committee to participate in the 'donate white rice to assist nearby vulnerable families' public welfare activities, assisting in providing basic living supplies to families in need in the surrounding area through corporate donations. This action is based on supporting community vulnerable groups, demonstrating Avalue's care and social responsibility for the local community, and also helping to strengthen the mutual trust relationship between Avalue and the park and nearby communities. In the future, Avalue will continue to participate in local public welfare actions in accordance with its operational characteristics and community needs through appropriate and specific methods, demonstrating the positive influence of enterprises.
For the planned new office building construction project, Avalue has required relevant design and construction units to strictly comply with environmental protection, architectural, and safety-related laws and regulations during the planning and construction stages, and to take measures such as traffic management, noise reduction during construction, and environmental maintenance to reduce potential impacts on the surrounding environment and residents during the construction period. The new building is expected to obtain a silver-level green building certification. In the future, it will reduce energy and water resource usage in the operation process through energy-saving design, water resource management, and green environmental planning, improving the surrounding environment, and demonstrating Avalue's commitment to environmental sustainability and local good coexistence.
In community communication and complaint mechanisms, Avalue currently does not have a dedicated independent complaint channel for local communities but has provided a channel for local communities to express opinions and reflect issues related to the matters under consideration through existing communication and management mechanisms. Regarding the new office building construction plan, Avalue has required contractors to set up a contact window during construction to serve as a main platform for receiving and responding to community opinions regarding traffic, noise, or environmental impacts during the construction period. Relevant feedback will be recorded and handled according to Avalue's internal procedures, and appropriate measures will be taken based on the situation.
Additionally, Avalue can also receive external stakeholder suggestions or feedback through official communication channels such as the main line and email and respond and handle them based on the nature of the issues by relevant units. Through the above diverse and existing communication methods, Avalue ensures that community opinions are appropriately received and responded to.
In environmental impact management, Avalue's operational activities do not involve the direct use of large amounts of natural resources. The main energy usage source is electricity. There are no significant direct emissions of pollutants during operational processes; relevant waste is managed according to regulations and is handed over to qualified professional waste disposal companies approved by the government for collection and disposal. The management practices have been explained in the environmental chapter of this report.
