In recent years, climate change, environmental-related harmful substances in products, and product safety responsibilities have become important issues in corporate sustainability and supply chain management. Avalue has incorporated these issues into its green supply chain management priorities and considers environmental-related substance management as an important basis for product development and supplier management.
In environmental-related substance management, Avalue has already incorporated environmental protection requirements such as RoHS 2.0 into its internal management procedures and controls risks through a green supply chain information management platform. Avalue's product materials comply with the RoHS 2.0 green environmental regulations and meet the following international environmental protection laws and regulations:
• Comply with the environmental management requirements stipulated by the EU 2011/65/EU and (EU) 2015/863 Directive on Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS).
• Complies with EU REACH Regulation EC 1907/2006 on Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and REACH Appendix 17 requirements.
Throughout the product design and manufacturing process, Avalue fully adheres to product safety regulations and market access requirements, and only initiates mass production after obtaining relevant safety design and regulatory certifications. Avalue obtains corresponding health and safety-related certifications for each product based on the sales region, national regulations, or product functions; each product obtains at least one certification and multiple regulatory certifications based on product characteristics and customer needs. Relevant safety and regulatory certifications include CB, CCC, CE, FCC, PCC, LVD, VCCI, EMI, and UL, among others.
During the reporting period, Avalue conducted health and safety impact assessments for all major product and service categories, with an assessment ratio of 100%. Additionally, Avalue manages safety information labeling, marketing promotion, advertising, and sponsorship activities in compliance with regulations and honesty principles.
In 2025, Avalue did not incur penalties, fines, or legal actions from regulatory authorities due to product and service safety, product information labeling, or promotional activities violating relevant laws or voluntary standards, demonstrating Avalue's emphasis and rigorous management of product safety, environmental responsibility, and honest marketing.
To strengthen resource recycling, Avalue sets a goal of achieving 20% recycled material usage for secondary structural components and die casting molds by 2027, continuously promoting the sustainable transformation of product materials.
Avalue also continues to promote material reduction and substitution, gradually reducing the environmental impact of packaging materials. After the product is delivered to the customer, the packaging materials are classified and handled by the customer based on actual needs and local regulations.
Green product performance and future directions
Avalue has long been dedicated to developing and manufacturing highly customized and efficient green products, by improving energy efficiency, extending product lifespan, and optimizing product design, assisting customers in enhancing production efficiency and reducing energy consumption during operations, further responding to global climate change and decarbonization trends.
In 2025, Avalue continues to drive the following achievements in green products and sustainable design.
• Raw materials are 100% compliant with international mandatory regulations and Avalue’s internal regulatory substance standards.
• Certain models meet the requirements of international energy-saving and environmental protection certification programs, such as EPC-EHL certification.
• New products are introduced with energy consumption monitoring design to enhance the efficiency of product energy management.
• Newly developed standards comply with the four green design criteria.
• Continuous promotion of low-energy design in horizontal applications and introduction of EU ErP energy consumption regulations.
Looking ahead, Avalue will continue its sustainable product strategy, ensuring raw materials comply with regulations and internal control standards, and strengthen the introduction of new energy-saving design rules to achieve a 50% (by number of development cases) share of energy-saving design products as a goal, deepening environmental sustainability and green innovation practices.
