The “Cathay United Bank x CDP Corporate Bank Environmental Disclosure Project” aims to promote the transparency of corporate carbon emissions data and assist companies in comprehensively understanding their carbon emission status through questionnaire responses, thereby formulating decarbonization and transformation strategies that better meet investor expectations.

Avalue officially entered carbon disclosure in 2021. In the same year, the company participated in the questionnaire response of CDP, the world’s largest carbon disclosure organization, and received a not-so-impressive “D” rating. However, by 2024, the score had significantly improved to “B,” and thus, Avalue won the “Best Climate Action Award” in the “Cathay United Bank x CDP Corporate Bank Environmental Disclosure Project” in 2024. This almost overtaking performance is closely related to what Chairperson Liu Li-Qi said, “the boss jumped in to do it.” Avalue implements ESG principles and actively promotes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its excellent performance in climate action fully affirms Avalue’s proactive actions and leadership role in the process of achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
