In accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 2 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, Avalue has formulated an Abnormal Workload-Induced Illness Prevention Plan. Other abnormal workloads: Includes irregular work, frequent business trips, working in abnormal temperature or noise environments, and daily workloads and work-related events accompanied by mental stress.
Health Guidance & Management Measures
The company conducts regular health checkups to monitor employees' overall health, preventing occupational diseases. New employees must provide proof of a pre-employment health examination. Regular health checkups comply with the Labor Safety and Health Act. Health examination results are used to assign suitable job roles and establish a health management handbook.
Implementation Process
1. Identification and Assessment of High-Risk Groups: Annually, in cooperation with accredited medical institutions, all employees undergo annual health checkups and complete electronic questionnaires to assess the risk of overwork. Based on the assessment of the risk of brain and cardiovascular diseases within ten years and the workload situation, employees are classified into different risk levels and scheduled for medical interviews.
2. Medical Interviews and Health Guidance: For employees classified as "high-risk," the Safety and Health Center will proactively arrange health consultations. For those classified as "medium-risk," they will be included in the recommended interview group. For those classified as "low-risk," consultations are generally not required.
3. Adjustment or Shortening of Working Hours and Job Rotation: Referencing the guidelines of the Ministry of Labor, adjustments or rotations of work content, and adjustments of working hours will be made. The Safety and Health Center will track the effectiveness of these measures.
4. Health Checkups, Management, and Promotion: Health checkup results should be retained for at least seven years. Based on the results, corresponding work management measures should be taken, such as changing the workplace, content, or shortening working hours. Additionally, health promotion activities include workplace health exercises, physical fitness assessments, and employee sports events.
5. Evaluation and Improvement of Implementation Effectiveness: Regularly review the implementation status and performance of the prevention plan at the Occupational Safety and Health Committee and management review meetings.
6. Reporting and Records: Relevant reports or records should be kept for at least three years.
