Avalue Technology Launches EPC-TWL Fanless Embedded System

Powered by Intel® Twin Lake Platform to Enhance Edge Computing and Industrial Performance

[Press Release – April 22, 2026] Avalue Technology Inc. (TPEx: 3479.TWO today announced the launch of its latest EPC-TWL fanless embedded system, powered by the new Intel® Twin Lake processor platform. Combining high-performance computing with low power consumption and extensive I/O expandability, the EPC-TWL provides a stable and flexible computing solution for industrial automation, smart retail, edge AI and embedded applications. Building on the compact design and industrial-grade reliability of Avalue’s EPC series, the EPC-TWL features a fanless architecture that minimises maintenance needs. It is ideal for long-term operation and deployment in harsh environments, enabling system integrators and equipment manufacturers to accelerate the implementation of intelligent applications.

High-Performance Computing and Graphics Capability
The EPC-TWL is equipped with Intel® Twin Lake processors and supports the Intel® Processor N150 and N250 (optional), as well as the Intel® Core™ 3 N355 (optional). These deliver outstanding multi-core computing performance. When combined with Intel® UHD Graphics, the system provides high-resolution visual output to meet the demands of visual computing and multimedia applications. In terms of display, the EPC-TWL supports dual outputs via HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.4a with a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, making it ideal for digital signage, surveillance systems and multi-display applications.

Flexible Expansion and High-Speed Connectivity
The EPC-TWL offers comprehensive and versatile industrial connectivity. It features dual Intel® 2.5GbE LAN and configurable COM ports that support RS-232/422/485. This enables seamless integration with a wide range of industrial equipment and control systems. The system also includes multiple USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as audio input/output (mic-in/line-out), ensuring flexible and convenient connectivity for peripherals.

In terms of storage and expansion, the EPC-TWL supports a 2.5-inch storage device and provides M.2 Key-B and M.2 Key-E slots. This allows users to integrate storage or wireless communication modules flexibly, depending on their application requirements. Additionally, the system supports DDR5 4800 MHz memory (up to 16 GB), delivering higher bandwidth and enhanced performance for edge computing and data-intensive workloads.

Industrial-Grade Reliability and Security
Designed for industrial environments, the EPC-TWL features a TPM 2.0 security module that enhances data protection and system security. Its fanless design and robust mechanical structure ensure stable operation in harsh conditions, reducing the risk of failure and maintenance costs. As demand for AI and edge computing continues to grow, the EPC-TWL stands out as a powerful, energy-efficient platform for intelligent applications. When used in industrial automation, smart retail, transportation or medical equipment, it provides a reliable, scalable computing foundation that helps customers to improve operational efficiency and accelerate digital transformation.
