Purpose

Introduce how to trouble shoot your USB external EPD series products

Instruction:

This document is for USB external ePaper display device (e.g. EPD-4200, EPD-4200-B1) with 2.8mm / 4mm glass cover.

Phenomenon and suggestion:

a. Computer cannot detect the device:

Check whether the transformer voltage output is normal, and if the USB cable is normal.

b. The program cannot detect the device:

Is the driver installed properly? If the driver has been installed but still cannot detect the unit, please check if there is a USB mass storage device in the device manager, try open the device and select update driver, choose Avalue T1000 driver from the list and continue to close the window.

c. The image file cannot be push to the EPD.

Click the Clear button to check if the screen will activate. Once the screen will active, then the image file may create in unsupported format.

d. The screen appears fixed line or residual image:

Clear screen or re-upload the picture to check whether the phenomenon disappears, if you cannot eliminate the abnormalities, then it may be a panel failure, according to the RMA process to report and return for repair.
